The Original Nuremberg Sausages are being produced in Nuremberg.
To do justice to these small original products, the Kupfer company joined
up with three sausage producers under the patronage of the city of
Nuremberg. With a new logo and a TV supported advertising campaign,
we shall broadcast jointly the quality of the brand: Original Nürnberger
Rostbratwürste, because there is no alternative to the original product.
The queen of sausages, long and thick as a finger, is based on a 15th
century recipe. It is made of high quality pork, specially spiced with
marjoram and honey, filled into edible sheep´s casing. A real Nuremberg speciality.
Our daughter company incorporated in 1991 called Gebrüder Kupfer GmbH,
produces weekly 1.000.000 of these sausages. Added to these must be the
typical Franconian “Bratwurst Snail”. Each year, a total of 6.000 metric tons
of these products are delivered to our customers. Our 150 staff members are
committed to continuing this tradition.
